Dear, could you share input file to see how it should be?

Hi,

Once u install the software in c:/programfiles/aexio u will have sample files for all the formats so u can use them just copy ur data in that sample files and save them and use this tool and convert the data into KMZ format

additional

  1. with makesector.mbx , sitesee.mbx and another plugin in mapinfo
  2. if you don’t have google pro , you can use global mapper with convert to kml file with all data included
3 and final open that file in google earth

Dear You,
You use Aexio sofware to creat it, This convert cel file (.cel - The file is used for Tems Investigation) into kmz file (.kmz), and you can open it Google Earth. All Guide, Sample,… are included install folder.

You can download it here: Aexio GE Converter v2.0 with Guide.zip

Best regards,

Well, thank you. But for me it ain’t working, is doesn’t put any information from the sample cel files. Do you have any special advice?

You can find it in Install folder that Software already install on your Hard Disk, example: D:\Program Files\aexio\aexio GEConverter.

Note: you can open Cel file by Excel or Notepad.

You can use Nemo Outdoor, export cell file as GE extension

Further: ask Kamy

I think the best solution will be Mapinfo plugin that could convert MapInfo database (cells) to Google KMZ

and the most important feature is to be able to convert cells “including all inside data: like Az., Tilt, etc”

I hope to find something like that

Dear, kindly guide me how to use Global Mapper to convert tab files to KMZ as I didn’t use before

I don’t think Mapinfo Plugin is best solution for covert cells to KMZ file. You can use Aexio GE tool, it easy and simple tool for convert cells file (.CELL file but you can edit by notepad, or Excel) to Google KMZ file.

What you meaning of use Global Mapper to covert tab files to KMZ???

BR!

Follow steps below:

  • Open all necessary data in Global Mapper

  • Open menu File/Export Wed Format…

  • Choose KML/KMZ. Press OK button, select path to save file

In Global Mapper: open your tab file which you want convert to Google KMZ file, then chose menu File -> Export Vector Format -> select export type KML/KMZ to export to Google KMZ file. (Don’t forget chose Tools -> Configure… -> Projection and select projection agree with your location)

All done! BR!

It’s easy and no need for any external plug in in Mapinfo just use GElink in MAPINFO which by default is not added in tools then easily you can do it
