Remote Microwave Link Inspection

Dear all,

Is there anyone here from a government agency or cellular operator who has experience with microwave link license inspections or audits?

In my country (Indonesia), in addition to field measurement methods, we have also been implementing remote inspection methods for several years. This remote method involves checking screenshots of hardware configurations for the requested links. The cellular operator’s technician logs into the configuration software or web interface tools (e.g., E******* Minilink, Huawei iMaster NCE, NEC, etc.), captures screenshots of key RF parameters (TX frequency, RX frequency, bandwidth, etc.), and sends them to the government officer for license verification.

This method is used because the government is not permitted to access the NMS API.

Is this kind of remote inspection also used in other countries? If so, is the screenshot verification still done manually by humans, or have any AI tools been implemented for this task?
