What is the difference between Tems investig 8 and 9 .I think for me Tems Invg 8 is enough .

Well, if you have version 8, I believe there is no difference as long as you are having an air interface measurements. What license do you have for version 8? is it a dongle or an emulated one? Please share.

Read this:

  • When I make a data session with a CDMA Rev A device (Novatel S720) I don’t get any updates for Traffic in the EV-DO Forward/Reverse Link Packets monitor
  • Support for MTR 2005 file formats
  • Minor bugs concerning the RAN Tuning Report
  • Mapinfo tab files cannot have “tab” in their path or file name
  • Command sequence script can hang when a Blocked call occurs
  • SI decoding problems on Nokia 6280
  • Abnormal HSUPA FTP upload throughput
  • EV-DO pilot scan problem in large cells
  • False Dropped call after change of file
  • TEMS is not giving any RSCP value, or sometimes just reports a wrong value when the signal strength goes below -110. (TM7200)
  • Replaying k790 scan data on RA 8.1.1/8.1 freezes the replay after some minutes
  • Neighbors cell name are not shown in Route Analysis for TEMS Pocket logfiles.
  • E-TFCI value persist even when RAB reconfigured to DCH mode
  • Wrong missing neighbor identification
  • More Than 3 Strong SCs problem
  • Handover From UTRAN Failed L3 message triggers Handover To UTRAN Failed event in Route Analysis
  • Wrong behaviour of HS UL HICH NACK Rate
  • Wrong band identification after inter-RAT HO from V3xx
  • Ranges for HS information elements are wrong
  • Problems with data card Huawei E630
  • 10838 UARFCN is not available in the menu
  • Missing Neighbor Detection on intra-cell handover
  • Qualcomm Prototype WCDMA 900 decoding error

That is corrected functions in Release 8.1.2 which means that problems exist in 8.1.1. More unnoticed problems are fixed in 8.1.3, 8.2.0, 8.2.1, 8.2.2, 8.2.3.

That should answers why it’s never ‘enough’.
