5G H…wei TDC optimization

Hello engineers
I need your help please in a scenario in which i have fdd cell relatively high TDC Leg with no problems in Inter SGNB mobility or in ENDC. Also the area has no Inter Freq with TDD cells (TDD free area). I tried harder reselection but didn’t get much result. Could you help me with some parameters to optimize pls?
Best regards

what do you mean by : high TDC Leg

A high Time Delay Compensation (TDC) Leg in an FDD (Frequency Division Duplex) cell can cause issues with call quality and handover performance. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and potentially optimize the situation, even though you’ve already tried harder reselection:
Diagnosis:

[ol]
[li]Identify Affected Users: Check if the high TDC Leg is affecting a specific user or a wider area. This will help narrow down the root cause.[/li]
[li]Verify Measurements: Double-check the reported TDC Leg value to ensure its accuracy. You can use cell diagnostics tools to confirm the measurement.[/li]
[li]Signal Strength: Investigate if the affected area has weak signal strength. A weak signal can lead to higher TDC Leg values.[/li][/ol]
Possible Optimizations (if applicable):

[ol]
[li]Tilt Adjustment: If the issue is localized, consider adjusting the antenna tilt to improve signal strength in the affected area.[/li]
[li]Power Optimization: Optimizing transmit power levels can help balance coverage and signal strength, potentially reducing TDC Leg.[/li]
[li]Cell Re-configuration: In some cases, cell reconfiguration parameters like cell radius or handover thresholds might need adjustments to improve handover performance.[/li][/ol]
Additional Tips:

[ul]
[li]Consult the documentation for your specific cellular network equipment for detailed information on these optimization techniques.[/li][li]Since harder reselection didn’t yield significant results, explore other handover parameter adjustments.[/li][li]If the issue persists, consider contacting your network vendor for further assistance.[/li][/ul]

Dears,

kindly what is the KPI formula to measure: high Time Delay Compensation (TDC)

There isn’t a single KPI formula directly measuring “high” Time Delay Compensation (TDC). TDC itself is a measurement and several KPIs are derived based on TDC values to assess signal transmission delays
