Trace procedure in ALU

Dear Friends,

Can someone guide me how to do trace analysis for ALU system? Some docs, procedure, extension of the file, tools required etc; any help will be appreciated.

Tool required is EDAT. ut for it to be operational you requires a license. Many type of traces on LTE. In the latest SW relaease, most of the traces can be taken from SAM.

For UMTS, up to UA8.1, you can also use CTA for decoding the .xml traces (no license required)

For ALU 3G,
You can configure CTa, CTb or CTg from the WNMS. (Need WNMS login)

CTb = IMSI based. (Limited session depends on your SW release)
CTg = Group of cells (Limited session depends on your SW release)

Each type of trace you can include/exclude message that you need.

To analyze the trace captured, you need yo download ALU eDAT tools from internal intranet.
The license request procedure and OI code is included with the setup file.
As long as you have connected to ALU Intranet combine with OI code you can easily request the license just 1 click.

*The XML license for eDAT lock per PC per ALU ID, so even i share the tools and license is useless.
